Coaching applications

The Ottawa Girls Hockey Association is opening the application period for head coaching positions for the 2026-27 hockey season.

Coaches will be selected through a merit-based process for the following teams:
U18 - A, BB, B, C
U15 - A, BB, B, C
U13 - A, B, C
U11 - A, C
U9 - Competitive
*new teams may be added based on competitive registrations

Are you a leader with a strong coaching resume, strong organizational skills, and the ability to
work with players and parents to develop the next generation of OGHA hockey players? If this
is you, submit your application for a head coaching position to secretary@ogha.org and include
the following information:

• a brief written description of yourself, including details of who you are outside of hockey
  (limit 250 words)
• a hockey resume, which includes experience from at least the last three seasons you
  volunteered, and should include as many details from previous seasons as possible (such as
  final records, tournament success, league success)
• a completed coaching questionnaire. Must include at least one assistant coach
  reference and two parent references.

All applications will be screened prior to interviews. Submitting an application does not guarantee an interview. Only those applicants who are selected for interviews will be contacted.

The application window will close on December 7, 2025. Final selections will be announced on or around January 14, 2026.
