Senior House Spring League Information

The OGHA U22/Senior House League program offers players a fun, supportive, and development-focused environment where athletes can continue enjoying the game they love while building skills, confidence, and community. Designed for players from across Ottawa, this program emphasizes sportsmanship, fair play, and a positive hockey experience for all participants, reflecting OGHA’s commitment to fostering and developing female hockey at every level. Whether athletes are returning to the ice or continuing their journey beyond youth divisions, the U22/Senior House League provides an inclusive space to stay active, compete, and connect with peers who share a passion for the game.

WHEN WILL THE SEASON BEGIN?

The summer season runs  approximately during the months of May and June.

HOW MANY GAMES ARE INCLUDED?

The season consists of approximately 8 to 10 regular games and playoffs.

ARE THERE ANY PRACTICES?

No. It’s all about fun game play!

WHEN ARE GAMES PLAYED?

Games will typically on Sunday nights between 8pm and 10pm.

WHERE ARE GAMES PLAYED?

Games will all be played at the Bell and Richcraft Sensplex arenas.

ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS?

Minimum age is 18.  There is no age maximum so you never age out!

CAN I PLAY WITH MY FRIENDS?

Definitely! The goal is to have fun so you can register to play with one friend or as a group as friends. You can even register as a full team!

WHAT IS THE LEVEL OF COMPETITION?

Open to all House to Competitive B level players. Stronger players are welcome as long as they are willing to adjust their play to a fair level.

HOW MUCH ARE THE REGISTRATION FEES?

$150 and no team fees.

HOW MANY PLAYERS WILL BE ROSTERED PER TEAM?

This will depend on our final registration numbers but the goal is to have 12-16 players per team.

HOW MANY TEAMS ARE THERE IN THE LEAGUE?

The goal for the winter season is to roster a minimum of 4-6 teams.

WHAT ABOUT JERSEYS?

Each team will be provided jerseys.
