Coaching Requirements

Please refer to the following links on the OWHA Website for specific requirements and process around becoming a coach:

Police Records Check (PRC) - Work with the Vulnerable Sector (Mandatory).

The OGHA requires that all head coaches, assistant coaches, trainers, managers, den mothers (and others as recommended) be subject to a Police Record Check for Work with the Vulnerable Sector.

City of Ottawa/Gatineau residents requiring a Vulnerable Sector Check and more information can visit the Ottawa Police Service website and online application portal.
