Skills Development Ice
For 2026/27, the OGHA is planning on running scheduled skill development ice for players, as well as sessions using last-minute ice, when it becomes available. Our plan is to run sessions targeting some of the most important skills, such as shooting, stickhandling, skating, and goalie development. Costs for skill sessions will be 10$ per hour of ice, to help the association cover some of the costs and to ensure that individuals who sign up attend the sessions.
Upcoming Skills Sessions
Shooting and Stickhandling - 16 skaters maximum, U9 to U13, competitive and House League (depending on numbers, strong fundamentals players can also be considered)
Goaltending - 16 goalies maximum, U9 to U15 (Note, our emphasis will be for BB, B, C and House League goalies)
